Scott Barrow’s “Posting Shadows” wins in the PX3 Paris competition. Surprise!

I was entering the PX3 photo contest yesterday and while checking my previous entries I realized that I had won in 2016!  This image, “Posting Shadows” won in the Fine Art / People category. What a nice surprise. It has been a gallery favorite and always brings a smile to visitor’s faces.

The “Prix de la Photographie, Paris” (Px3) strives to promote the appreciation of photography, to discover emerging talent, and to introduce photographers from around the world to the artistic community of Paris. Winning photographs from this competition are exhibited in a high-profile gallery in Paris and published in the high-quality, full-color Px3 Annual Book” … Excellent, I do love Paris.

*  Check out my January 2nd 2014 post.  This is a great competition, but they could use some work on their notifications. 😉
