Shooting boat to boat in the crowded waters of New York can be challenging. Whether I am in the air or on the water, I have to coordinate with multiple captains, their crews and my helicopter pilot to make sure that thousands of tons of ships traveling at 25 knots or more end up in exactly the right place and do so safely. The crews that I work with are friendly, professional and most importantly patient with this photographer who keeps saying, “One more time”.
